Alex Rubinov, DMD, MS

Dr. Alex Rubinov joined AZPerio in August 2026 and sees patients primarily at the Central Phoenix office. He also provides care at other AZPerio locations as needed.

Dr. Rubinov graduated from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.

Before pursuing specialty training, Dr. Rubinov practiced as a general dentist for four years. That experience gave him a strong understanding of restorative dentistry, comprehensive treatment planning, and the importance of close collaboration between specialists and referring dentists. It continues to shape how he plans surgical care with the final restorative result in mind. He later completed his specialty training in periodontics and earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Iowa.

During his specialty training, Dr. Rubinov earned first place in the Academy of Osseointegration’s international case presentation competition for an esthetic-zone implant case. His case was selected from hundreds of entries submitted by clinicians from around the world presenting their most accomplished work.

Dr. Rubinov is board-eligible through the American Board of Periodontology and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Dental Association.

IN HIS FREE TIME

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rubinov enjoys staying active, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
